| The Internet never fails to amaze me! No doubt many of you reading this message have grown up surrounded by electronic gadgets and accept Computers and The Internet without so much as a second thought, however as a Septuagenarian I'm probably a little older than the majority of you and thus am still able to remember the "pre-computer age", not quite pre-historic but getting there ... a bit like myself. Only slightly more than half a century ago this was an age when TV was a novelty and there was actually more road than cars to fill it. It was an age when neighbours were well acquainted and front doors were left open to welcome visitors. We have moved on since then! Technology has advanced at a seemingly impossible rate and we all enjoy immense benefits as a result. Sadly though much of the "Social Trust and Togetherness" appears to have disappeared in the process. Now we all seem to work harder and longer with little time left to talk to our neighbours, indeed many of us don't even know our neighbours' names whilst the era of "Open Doors" has long since gone ... Or has it? Never, in my knowledge, has anything had such an astonishing impact on our Lifestyle as the Internet has. Instantaneous Living is what I personally call it. At the click of a mouse I can have knowledge on anything and everything I want and can make as many new friends as I could ever wish for. I will never cease to marvel at this "8th Wonder Of The World" but do you know what I find most wonderful of all? "Social Trust and Togetherness" is on the way back. The Old Spirit of Wanting To Help Each Other is here again. People all over the world actually WANT TO HELP and are able to because of the Internet. They freely donate a lot of their time and energies helping others and the Internet makes it easy for them to do so. As a result Opportunities Abound for people to improve not just their Incomes but, more importantly, their Lifestyles. The Playing Field has been well and truly levelled in a way which was never possible before. Communication is now "So Easy". The Internet has made the "Impossible Possible". I am proud, and privileged, to be part of this Fantastic Evolution and it is my fervent wish that I will be able to contribute in my small way to the changes which are benefitting so many. I run many websites and blogs (details) and through them I am pleased to be able to pass on a lot of knowledge which I have gained whilst setting up and operating them. Knowledge which I sincerely hope you will find of use and value. May I personally invite you to help yourself to this knowledge.
